It caught her off guard for a second before she started to kiss him back with a hum in her throat. Before she could ask him what was wrong he quickly leaned in and captured her lips in a kiss. She muttered under her breath something he didn't catch before shifting and turning around to face him.įor a moment he froze as he stared into her dark brown eyes almost mesmerized by how it seemed like they would glow occasionally with each flash of lighting.
She swore that he could make a game out of making her blush so quickly, he could easily make her cheeks turn a bright red hue faster than a blink of an eye. "Please turn around? I would like to see the face of my personal nurse before I fall asleep, you know?" She could feel him smirking against her neck as he said that, feeling her cheeks heat up. "Well I um was wondering if you could possibly turn around?" "Hm?" She was teasing him now and he pouted at this before nuzzling against her neck.
"Yes?" She asked a slight teasing tone in her voice as she felt him tense up upon realizing she knew he was staring. She giggled as she could feel him staring up at her and sighed. She started to nod off, relaxing in his warmth when she felt him rest his chin on her shoulder pulling her closer to him. Once her back was pressed against his chest she felt him relax as he moved his arms up to her torso and almost pulled her in for a hug. Large hands gently placed themselves on her hips and carefully pulled her closer to him. "So-sorry I just wanted to know if it would be fine if I uh well if I touch you, you know like cuddling or-" "Garrett, we are dating aren't we? You don't have to ask to cuddle you know." She cut him off with her answer, her lips curling into a smile as she heard him mutter a "right of course." She felt shuffling next to her before Garrett cleared his throat. She lay on her side with a sigh of slight content as she started to relax. It's not as comfy as it normally is when you're trying to go to sleep." She reassured him as she watched him get settled before pulling the covers over them then slipping off her glasses and turning off the lamp on her bedside drawer. "I've told you more than once already, Garrett, I don't want you to sleep on that couch. "Are you sure it's fine that we sleep in the same bed? I really won't mind sleeping on the couch, you know?" Garrett asked as he started to carefully push himself out of his wheelchair and onto her bed. The tank top she let him borrow was from either Steve or Bucky from the last time they came over and left it there, she's forgotten to give it back to them but at the moment it fit almost perfectly on the red haired man. Kris turned her head to look at Garrett who smiled softly as he pushed his wheelchair into her room stopping right next to her bed.
She was brought out of her thoughts by a soft knock on her door frame. This one obviously wasn't their doing based on how spaced out each flash of lighting were. The loud roll of thunder reminded her of the stories Thor would tell her of when he and Loki would battle or train in Asgard and how it occasionally affected the weather on earth. You also apparently could tell if it was them depending on how frequent the lighting strikes and thunder claps were. Garrett and her were just going over some things that Egon had assigned them to work on for the week until the next call and a storm hit almost unexpectedly as they worked in the flat. The short brunette pouted as she looked out her bedroom window to watch the pouring rain that drummed against the glass. Well this was certainly the predicament the two Ghostbusters were in.
